Evacuation Assistance

  • If you need evacuation assistance, contact 211 to locate the nearest shelter during an active disaster evacuation.
  • Visit the American Red Cross website to find available shelters in your area.

Shelter in Place

If you plan to shelter in place, properly secure your surroundings and gather an adequate amount of supplies and equipment.

Report Damages

Report disaster home damages at Connective Texas and iSTAT Damage Surveys.

FEMA Assistance

Register as soon as possible to apply for FEMA assistance.  The fastest way to apply is online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362 (TTY 1-800-462-7585) after a declared disaster.

Clean Up Resources

  • If your home has been damaged and you are not able to clean up on your own, contact Crisis Clean-Up to register for volunteer cleanup assistance.
